Privacy Policy
This policy explains how A‑Z Peptides manages personal information collected through the website, catalogue, forms and order communications.
Last updated: August 20261. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal information handled by A‑Z Peptides in connection with this website, order requests, delivery, transactional emails and customer or privacy enquiries. We aim to manage personal information transparently and consistently with applicable Australian privacy requirements.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, state, postcode, products and quantities ordered, order value, complimentary items, unique order reference and messages you send us.
The website also stores limited information on your device for the shopping cart and 18+ confirmation. We do not request or collect card numbers, online-banking credentials or payment-account passwords through the website.
3. How information is collected
Information is collected directly from you when you complete the checkout or privacy-request form, add products to the device-local cart, correspond with us or otherwise provide information relating to an order. Netlify Forms processes submitted form information on our behalf.
If you use the optional address-suggestion feature, the partial address text you type is sent through our website to a mapping service solely to return matching Australian address suggestions. You can ignore the suggestions and enter your address manually.
4. Why we use your information
We use personal information to receive and assess order requests, verify details, communicate about payment, fulfil and deliver accepted orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations and respond to privacy requests.
We do not use order information for unrelated direct marketing without permission. Transactional order and delivery communications are not marketing.
5. Disclosure to service providers
We may disclose relevant information to service providers that help operate the website and fulfil orders, including Netlify for website hosting and form processing, the configured transactional-email provider, the mapping provider used for optional address suggestions, delivery and logistics providers, technology support providers and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law or reasonably necessary to investigate suspected unlawful activity.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Overseas processing
Some technology, hosting and email providers may process or store information outside Australia. The locations involved depend on the providers and service configuration used at the time. Where Australian privacy law applies, we take reasonable steps required by law when using overseas service providers.
7. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against loss, interference, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Order and enquiry records are retained only for as long as reasonably required for fulfilment, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable.
8. Device storage and cookies
The website uses browser storage to remember cart contents and the 18+ research-use confirmation. The age confirmation is retained on that device for approximately 30 days. This version of the website does not use advertising trackers or behavioural-advertising cookies.
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so will reset your cart and cause the age confirmation to appear again.
9. Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, explaining the reason where required.
10. Privacy complaints
If you believe your information has been mishandled, submit the form below with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and assess the concern within a reasonable period. If applicable privacy law covers the matter and you are dissatisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
11. People under 18
The product catalogue and ordering service are intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly invite people under 18 to submit an order. If information has been submitted by a person under 18, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
12. Data incidents
If a data incident occurs, we will investigate and take reasonable containment and remediation steps. Where notification is required under applicable law, affected individuals and the relevant regulator will be notified.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our systems, providers, legal obligations or information practices change. The current version and update date will remain published on this page.
Submit a privacy request
Use this form for access, correction, deletion or privacy-complaint requests. Do not include card, banking, password or medical information.
